- Certain taxpayer records received in confidence if public disclosure would constitute an unfair competitive disadvantage to the individual that supplied the details
- All correspondence between employees at the California Governor’s Office or between the Governor and employees. This exemption also covers records maintained or received by the Governor’s Legal Affairs Secretary. However, the law specifically forbids transferring public records to the Governor’s Legal Affairs Secretary to circumvent this exemption
- Records containing an individual’s personal financial data or details of personal worth if filed with a licensing agency to determine the person's qualification for the license, permit, or certificate
- Records that contain personal information on judges, prosecutors, magistrates, public defenders, and peace officers, such as their phone numbers and home addresses
- Records exempted from public disclosure under a state or federal law provision

Yolo County Crime Statistics

Yolo County sex offender records are available online via the California Megan’s Law Website provided by the California Department of Justice (DOJ). How Do I Visit an Inmate in the Yolo County Jail?
Family and friends of inmates may schedule visits by calling the Monroe Detention Center at (530) 668-5245 or the Leinberger Detention Center at (530) 668-5254. However, neither facility allows visitors to modify or reschedule an appointment after a confirmed appointment. Although visitors may cancel, a cancellation counts against the inmate’s allowed weekly quota.
Each inmate may receive two 30-minute visits each week with one visitor for each session. However, an inmate’s parents or grandparents may visit at the same time. All visitors must arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled visit with a government-issued ID or a valid passport. Persons who arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment will forfeit their visits.
Visitors must submit to metal detector scans and are required to keep shoes on while going through the metal detector. Persons who do not successfully scale the metal detector search will be denied entry. All scheduling for visits to the Monroe Detention Center must begin at 12:00 am for the current week only. However, persons looking to visit on a Monday may schedule from 7:00 pm on the previous day.
All visitors must be at least 18 years old unless married or emancipated with proof. Eligible younger persons may take advantage of Family Visiting at both facilities, only on Sundays.
All visitors must dress appropriately. Visitors wearing inappropriate clothing, or clothing close in appearance to inmate attire, may lose their visitation privileges.
